We just got back from the Dahabiya Nile Cruise and honestly, it was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. The boat was small, super cozy, and so quiet that you could actually hear the water and birds along the riverbanks. The crew was amazing, friendly, and always there when we needed something. The food was excellent, everything was fresh and tasty (and as a vegetarian, I was seriously impressed!). Our guide knew all about ancient Egypt. Evenings on deck, watching the sun set over the Nile, were pure magic. If you’re thinking about doing this cruise, you won’t regret it.
We spent the first few days in Egypt exploring Cairo, the Pyramids, and nearby sights, and then joined the Dahabiya Nile Cruise. We were a family of six, from teenagers to my elderly parents, and everyone enjoyed it. It was such a nice balance of sightseeing and relaxing. My husband, who loves history, really liked visiting the temples. For me, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut was the highlight - so elegant and impressive.
