Spend a magical night sailing through Cairo on our Luxury Nile Cruise! We’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the Nile Maxim Boat, where a luxurious evening awaits. You’ll eat a delicious Egyptian and Oriental dinner, and also watch dance shows with live music! Make sure to also go out on deck and view the sparkling Cairo skyline. This was my first cruise experience, and it was extra special as it was my wedding anniversary! Although I loved it for other reasons than just that. Not gonna lie, it was very nice to be picked up and driven to the boat! The driver was also very polite and friendly. On the boat the VIP experience then continued. It’s a special feeling to be sailing down the Nile river, looking at the city passing by. Especially with everything lit up in the night. For me at least anyway. The boat was nicely decorated, there were candles everywhere, and everyone was well-dressed. Just a very pleasant evening.
We got the Luxury Nile Cruise as a way to unwind after a day spent at the Giza pyramids. I highly recommend you do the same. After you’ve been in the sun all day, it feels incredible to shower, relax, and have good food and good entertainment. Honestly, just watching the dances, the whirling one and the belly dance was a great time for me. The food is dangerous!! You eat too much - and you want to, because it’s so delicious - and you almost fall asleep! It almost happened to me haha. I had to have a coffee at like 8pm lol. It was great coffee though.

EAT A DELICIOUS EGYPTIAN DINNER
After picking you up, we’ll drive you to the lavish Nile Maxim Boat. Step on board, and get ready for a feast! A chef has prepared a special set menu that changes with the season. However, you’ll definitely taste Egyptian delicacies such as hummus, koshari, and dolma. Koshari is Egypt’s national dish. It's a mix of pasta, rice and brown lentils, topped with a tomato sauce and chickpeas. Chickpeas are extremely popular in Egypt, and are used in hummus and falafel. However, there will also be an international salad served alongside the Egyptian dishes.
VIEW DANCE SHOWS AND LISTEN TO LIVE MUSIC
You get a show and a meal! There will be two live dance performances. The first is a belly dance - a dance that actually originated in Egypt! Women will move their hips and torso in controlled, precise movements to match the live music. Watch their staccato and fluid motions, and get lost in their performance. There’ll also be a Tanoura dance: a whirling performance. In this show, men will wear a long, colorful skirt called a Tanoura. By whirling around fast, their skirt creates a beautiful and dynamic visual. There’ll be accompanying upbeat music as you watch the Tanoura dance.
GAZE OUT AT THE CAIRO CITYSCAPE
As you float down the Nile, take the opportunity to head out into the open air from time to time. Stand on the deck and gaze at Cairo at night. Take in the sparkling lights, listen to the noise of the city, and admire its sprawling skyline. Feel the breeze on your face, and let the wind play with your hair as you relax with some peace and quiet. While outside, you’ll likely spot landmarks like the relaxing riverside area of Zamalek. You should also see the Aisha Fahmy Palace - an Egyptian art gallery. The cruise takes you through the very heart of Cairo, so you’ll see unique views of the city only possible from the river.
